I know that all animals shed their top coat. But is there a such thing as a cat that doesnt shed as much as other cats do?
If so what kind of breed.
FYI-IM NOT ASKING FOR HAIRLESS CATS. NO OFFENSE TO ANYONE THAT OWNS ONE, I JUST THINK THEY LOOK LIKE RATS....

Is locking an animal in a shed during hot weather LEGALLY considered animal cruelty?

Before anyone jumps down my throat - the story is this: my coworker's neighbor has a puppy & they neglect it. My coworker & her husband are animal lovers. They already rescued the poor thing when he broke out if it's yard & was trying running down the road, gave it a bath, food...they do their best to watch over the little pup. Now - today, it's going to be a humid 80 & her husband just called to say they locked it in the shed again. Does anyone know if this is grounds for animal control to take the dog or it is only grounds for a warning?
Thanks for all the help! My coworker's concern is she can only find info saying you have to provide shelter & nothing about the elements.

And this puppy isn't connected to the family. She's seen them push the dog with their foot as it tries to scoot inside. She's never seen anyone play with the animal, just walk out 1/day to give food. The dog is either kept in the shed or enclosed porch.

Do you see it as a sign of weakness and being pathetic to shed a tear for an animal being treated cruelly?

i remarked to one of my mates that tears had welled up in my eyes that some kids had shot a cat with a crossbow. Do you see that as being stupid or weak? i dont because i care for some animals more than some humans

Is it a physical or chemical change when animals shed their fur?

It seems like a physical change, but is there something chemically going on that causes it to be a chemical change?

Or do you look at it more like ripping a paper? So just because the fur is no longer attached it is just a physical change since it is still fur?

I'm a little confused.

What other Animal Sheds tears like humans do?

& if there are none, how come it only happens to humans? Where does the saltwater come from? How come it only happens if you are sad , in pain, or distressed?

how can I keep a varmint (animal) from dropping their feces all around my compose pile and shed.?

It seems like it is a racoon marking his territory. Is there something besides a trap that will make them go away?
